NEET Physics Strong Strategy — Step-by-Step
Core Mindset
Physics is pattern-based — if you master core concepts and problem types you can convert it into a scoring subject.
Step 1 — Concept Clarity (First 2–3 months)
- Read theory, derive formulas yourself.
- Create a formula sheet per chapter.
Step 2 — Problem Classification & Practice
- Classify problems: Mechanics → Rotational → Electricity → Optics → Modern.
- Solve 200–300 problems/chapter for mechanics; 80–150 for other chapters.
Step 3 — Targeted Daily Practice
- 30–40 numericals daily: mix of easy, medium, hard.
- Time yourself: 1.5–2 minutes for easy, 3–5 for medium, 6–10 for hard.
Step 4 — PYQs & Concept Tests
- Solve past 10 years PYQs by topic.
- Use QBank filters: topic, difficulty, and time.
Step 5 — Formula & Shortcut Mastery
- Maintain flashcards for derivations & common shortcuts.
- Practice dimensional analysis & unit checking.
Step 6 — Full Test Integration
- In mocks, attempt Physics last or third depending on comfort. Start with easiest topics to build momentum.
Common Pitfalls
- Rote memorization of formula without understanding.
- Not classifying or re-solving mistakes.
