"38 years NEET PYQ" means every AIPMT and NEET paper from 1988 to 2025. Here is who conducted the exam each year and where its paper can be found.
1988–2012AIPMT · conducted by CBSE
All India Pre-Medical Test. No official online archive; these papers survive in printed PYQ books.
2013NEET-UG · conducted by CBSE
First NEET. AIPMT came back in 2014 after the Supreme Court set NEET aside.
2014–2015AIPMT · conducted by CBSE
In 2015 the exam was held twice: the May paper was cancelled after a leak and a re-exam was held in July.
2016–2018NEET-UG · conducted by CBSE
NEET replaced AIPMT for MBBS and BDS admissions. 2016 had two phases.
2019–2025NEET-UG · conducted by NTA
NTA conducts the exam and posts the answer keys on neet.nta.nic.in. The current pattern starts here.
Official source for NEET 2019 onwards: neet.nta.nic.in. Older AIPMT papers have no official online archive. For NEET 2027, solve the last 10–12 years chapter-wise first, then older Biology questions, then full papers in 3 hours in the final months.
Read the NCERT chapter before its PYQs. Without NCERT you memorise answers and miss the same idea when it comes back reworded.
Solve every past question of one chapter together. You see quickly which ideas NEET keeps testing in that chapter.
In Biology, find the NCERT line behind every PYQ. It shows you how closely NEET follows the book.
Note your accuracy for each chapter. Below about 65%, revise the NCERT chapter once more before moving on.
Keep a list of concepts that came up again and again in a chapter, and go through it every two weeks.
In the last two or three months, solve year-wise papers in 3 hours to build timing and stamina.
NEET is set from a fixed syllabus built on the NCERT Class 11 and 12 books. Past papers are the clearest evidence of how that syllabus is examined: which chapters carry the most questions, which ideas come back, and how a fact from NCERT is turned into a statement-based or assertion-reason question.
Solving PYQs chapter-wise shows that pattern faster than year-wise papers. When you do every Genetics question together, you notice the same ideas returning: Mendelian ratios, incomplete dominance and co-dominance, pedigree analysis, the lac operon. In Physics the repeats are concept-level: the same principle in a new numerical setting.
NCERT Biology has changed less than Physics and Chemistry, so older AIPMT Biology questions still test today's content: organelle functions, digestive enzymes, the cardiac cycle, hormones. Note that NCERT was rationalised in 2023 and some topics were removed; skip old questions on those topics.
PYQs show you what NEET asks. Full mock tests train you to answer 180 questions in 3 hours under the +4/−1 marking. Do chapter-wise PYQs while you study each chapter, then shift to timed mocks and year-wise papers in the final phase. To decide which chapters to start with, see the chapter-wise weightage.

Every question has an explanation, so you learn the concept, not just the option.
In the app, each chapter mixes NEET previous year questions with new questions on the same concepts.

Yes, two kinds, both free with no signup. (1) Chapter-wise PYQ PDFs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology: real NEET and AIPMT questions sorted by NCERT chapter, each tagged with its paper, with checked answers and explanations. (2) A practice PDF for each of the 79 NCERT chapters (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) with 24 NEET-level MCQs and solutions, written by RankUp. More PYQs are in the RankUp app, in each chapter's Important PYQ topic.
For 2019 onwards, NTA conducts NEET and posts its official notices and answer keys on neet.nta.nic.in. NEET 2013 and 2016–2018 were conducted by CBSE, and AIPMT (1988–2015) by CBSE too. Those older papers have no official online archive, so they are found in printed PYQ books.
It means every AIPMT and NEET paper from 1988 onward: 1988 to 2025 is 38 years, and with 2026 it becomes 39. These collections come from publishers' PYQ books. RankUp does not publish a 38-year PDF. For NEET 2027, the most useful part is the last 10 to 12 years, solved chapter-wise, plus older Biology questions, because NCERT Biology has changed the least.
There was no NEET in 1988. The exam that year was AIPMT, conducted by CBSE, and CBSE has no official online archive of it. Questions from 1988 onward are reproduced in printed AIPMT/NEET PYQ books. Pre-2000 Physics and Chemistry questions are less useful today because the syllabus and style have changed; old Biology questions are still good NCERT practice.
The same concepts come back often. Biology repeats the most, because many questions come straight from NCERT lines. Physics and Chemistry repeat ideas in new numerical or conceptual forms rather than word for word. That is why solving PYQs chapter-wise is one of the best uses of your time.
Solve at least the last 10 to 12 years (2014–2025) chapter-wise, since they match today's NTA pattern. For Biology, go further back if you have time, because NCERT Biology has changed the least. Start with the most recent papers, then go backwards.
Topics that come up in most papers include Human Physiology (digestion, breathing, circulation, excretion, neural and chemical control), Genetics and Molecular Basis of Inheritance, Reproduction, Ecology, Plant Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, and Cell and Biomolecules. See the chapter-wise weightage page for each chapter's average number of questions.
Yes. Every question in the PDF has its correct option and a short explanation of why it is right and why the trap options are wrong. The same chapter's full question bank, with solutions, is in the RankUp app.
